Feathered Star, continued...

 Dit is een heel oud project! Ik vond het in een mapje, met de uitnodiging er nog bij: workshop Feathered Star door Lucy in de Sampler in Haarlem, gedateerd: februari 2008! De groene ster heb ik toentertijd helemaal afgemaakt, met het idee om er een kussentje van de maken. Tja... Wat een geluk dat I. foto's heeft gemaakt tijdens de workshop, met wat puzzelen kwam ik er zo toch uit en heb ik een tweede Feathered Star kunnen maken! Zo leuk om weer eens te quilten! Ook weer een lekker overzichtelijk projectje. 

Pillowcase

Allthough I only had to follow M.'s lead, it still took me a while to finish the pillowcase for my quilt. My daughter dictated the embroidery inside the pillowcase: "for my sweet daughter, kiss kiss mummy" G. (kiss twice, because I didn't use the memory button on my sewing machine correctly!)

Little Miss T's Quilt And Pillowcase

Little Miss T. has her quilt for quite some time now, but I haven't hung it out for a formal picture yet. A week or so after M. finished the quilt she added a pillowcase in purple to go with the quilt (at special request of Little Miss T. of course). G.
