G's Double Sided Log Cabin

Here are my four finished blocks. They were so great to make, that I decided to find more fabric and turn it into a lapquilt. Of course I used my favourite Dutch fabric again. When I received the black, white and pink (!!) fabric in my Dutch fabric club package, I thought them horrible. So I just used them to get rid of them, thinking I wouldn't make a quilt from this workshop yet. How wrong could I be. I just love my black, white and pink back, and I can't wait to get started on an entire quilt! G.

Preparations

We received the instructions for our next workshop: "double sided log cabin". I've never had to do so much work in advance for a workshop yet! I had to cut meters and meters of fabric, and sew them all together again. I can't wait until Friday to start piecing them together! G.
